The opening and closing part of the fluorine lined gate valve is the gate, and the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. The gate valve can only be fully opened and closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The two sealing surfaces of a common pattern gate valve form a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with the valve parameters. When the medium temperature is not high, it is 2 ° 52 '. The gate plate of a wedge gate valve can be made into a whole, called a rigid gate plate; It can also be made into a gate that can produce slight deformation to improve its machining performance and compensate for the deviation of the sealing surface angle during the machining process.

Fluorine lined gate valves are specifically designed for controlling corrosive or highly corrosive media. The inner surface of the valve body is covered with various optional fluoroplastics, suitable for different working temperatures and fluid pipelines. They have high strength and good corrosion resistance. The working conditions of fluorine lined gate valves are very harsh, including toxic and harmful chemicals as well as highly corrosive acids, alkalis, or organic solvents. Improper use can cause economic losses and serious consequences. Proper use and maintenance of valves can extend the service life of fluorine lined valves and ensure the normal operation of pipelines. Therefore, the following points should be noted during installation, maintenance, and use:

1. The flange cover plate of the fluorine lined gate valve should not be opened arbitrarily. Unless prepared to connect to the pipeline, the surface of PTFE flanges may be damaged or deformed due to temperature differences and foreign objects, thereby affecting the sealing. If the cover plate is moved for inspection, it must be immediately reset after inspection to protect the surface of the PTFE flange.

When connecting fluorine lined gate valves to pipelines, gaskets are usually not used separately. However, when connecting to flange surfaces of different materials (metal surfaces, etc.), appropriate gaskets should be used to protect the PTFE flange surface.

If the fluorine lined gate valve leaks at high temperatures during system use, the system temperature should be first reduced to room temperature, and then the cause should be identified and the valve repaired.

4. It is not allowed to carry out any high-temperature welding operations on the fluorine lined gate valve to avoid damage to the lining layer.

5. During installation, the flange nuts should be evenly tightened diagonally (symmetrically) with appropriate torque:

A. If the flange sealing surface leaks and the nut at the leaking location is locked, loosen the nut at the leaking location by half a turn and then apply the same torque to the other side to lock it again.

B. If the above methods still fail to prevent leakage, check the surface of the PTFE flange for any dents or scratches, and then use a piece of paper and cloth to level and reconnect.

6. Fluorine lined gate valves should be stored in a dry and ventilated room and should not be stacked.

7. The repaired fluorine lined gate valve should be tested and installed according to relevant standards before use.

When manually operating the fluorine lined gate valve, do not use other levers to forcibly open or close the valve.

When installing fluorine lined valves with directional requirements, the flow direction of the medium should follow the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body to ensure convenient operation and maintenance.

10. The sealing pair of fluorine lined valves stored for a long time should be slightly opened and separated to avoid deformation of the sealing surface under long-term pressure, which can affect sealing performance and service life.
