Fluorine lined gate valve is a type of valve. The opening and closing components of the fluorine lined gate valve are gate valves, and the direction of movement of the gate valve is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. Gate valves can only be fully opened and closed, but cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The two sealing surfaces of commonly used gate valves are wedge-shaped. The wedge gate valve gate can be made into a whole and is called a rigid gate; It can also be made into a gate that can produce slight deformation to improve its processability and compensate for the deviation in the sealing surface angle during processing. Features of fluorine lined gate valve: Light weight: The valve body is made of ductile black cast iron, which reduces the weight by about 20%~30% compared to traditional gate valves and is easy to install and maintain.



Flat bottom gate seat: Traditional gate valves often deposit foreign objects such as stones, wooden blocks, cement, iron filings, and debris in the grooves at the bottom of the valve. After flushing the water pipe, it is easy to close it loosely, causing water leakage. The bottom of the elastic seat gate valve is designed as a flat bottom similar to the water pipe machine, which is not easy to deposit debris and allows the fluid to flow unobstructed.



Overall rubber coating: The gate adopts rubber for overall internal and external rubber coating. The rubber vulcanization technology in Europe ensures accurate geometric dimensions of the cured gate. The rubber and ductile iron gate are firmly bonded, not easy to fall off, and have good elastic memory.



Precision cast valve body: The valve body is cast, and the accurate geometric dimensions ensure the sealing of the valve without any precision machining inside the valve body.



Working principle of fluorine lined gate valve:



Rotate the handwheel to lift or lower the valve plate connected to the valve stem through the forward and backward movement of the handwheel and valve stem threads, thereby achieving the opening and closing function.



The types of gate width can be divided into wedge gate valves and parallel gate valves according to the configuration of the sealing surface. Wedge gate valves can also be divided into single gate, double gate, and elastic gate. Parallel gate valves can be divided into single gate valves and double gate valves. According to the thread position of the valve stem, it can be divided into two types: rising stem gate valve and non rising stem gate valve.



The installation and maintenance of fluorine gate valves should pay attention to the following matters:



The handwheel, handle, and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting, and collision is strictly prohibited.



Double gate valves should be installed vertically (i.e. the valve stem is in a vertical position and the handwheel is at the top).



Gate valves with bypass valves should be opened before opening (to balance the inlet and outlet pressure difference and reduce opening force).



Gate valves with transmission mechanisms should be installed according to the product manual.



If the valve is frequently opened and closed, lubricate it at least once a month.
